Situated on the shore of Negro River, in the middle of the Pantanal, Barra Mansa is a homely lodge, offering guestrooms with satellite TV and a variety of eco activities. Rooms at Hotel Barra Mansa are air conditioned and face the garden. They are provided with mosquito nets and the private bathrooms include showers. With its secluded location in this preserved part of the ecosystem, Barra offers its guests a variety of tour options that include horse riding, fishing and bird watching on the river. Guests are invited to a daily buffet breakfast. Tasty traditional food is prepared in the wooden stove. Tailored menus can be provided on request. The bar offers drinks during the day, while guests can relax in the hammock area. Hotel Barra is located 120 km from the nearest town Aquidauna. It has a private airstrip, which makes access by plane easy. Please note, that only during dry season access is possible by 4x4 vehicles and parking is available.
