Reifferscheid is a picturesque mountain village located on a cliff. You can cycle or walk along many signposted routes through the wonderful Eifel landscape. The Oleftal dam and the game corral in Hellenthal are great sights on your discovery tours. Larger villages in the region are Schleiden and Hellenthal. There you will find many shops. restaurants and cafes. The adventure world at the Nürburgring (about 50 km away) is a great tip for a day trip in combination with the half timbered village of Adenau.
