Quick description

Enjoying beautiful views of Lake Windemere, the charming Ryebeck also boasts 5 acres of gardens and grounds, individually styled rooms and an award-winning restaurant. Spacious and bright bedrooms have been elegantly decorated and furnished. Each room features a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom, with some offering a private patio or splendid lake views. The award-winning restaurant has 2 AA Rosettes and overlooks the gardens and the lake, serving a menu that changes with the season’s ingredients. Guests can unwind with afternoon tea in one of the stylish lounges, or on the terrace if weather permits. The surrounding fells and countryside provide beautiful walks, just moments from the hotel’s doorstep. Beatrix Potter’s former home, Hill Top Farm, is just a 30-minute journey over the car ferry. The leisure facilities of a nearby hotel, found just a mile away, are free for guests at the hotel.


Important information

Please note that children under the age of 5 are not permitted in the restaurant in the evening. Pets are only allowed in the Jolly Good rooms, subject to availability and by prior arrangement at an additional charge of GBP 20 per dog per stay. Please note that pets are not allowed in the public rooms and should not be left unattended for prolonged period of times. When booking for 5 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements will apply. Guests who have booked the bed, breakfast and dinner option have an allocated allowance of GBP 35 towards dinner. If this is exceeded, any additional costs will be added as a supplement on to your account. Tea, coffee and pastries are not included in this allocated allowance.
