Ryokan Kyotoya is 2 minutes from JR Takeo Onsen Train Station via the hotel’s free shuttle. It features natural hot-spring baths and multi-course Japanese meals in an elegant classical setting. Guests at Kyotoya can experience Japan’s unique tatami (woven-straw) floors and traditional futon bedding. Each room has an attached bathroom with bathtub and shower. Massage services and a sauna make it easy to unwind, and guests can relax in the open-air hot-spring baths. Koto Cafe serves cold-brewed “Dutch coffee,” steeped for 8 hours to bring out the flavour.
