Surrounded by crystal clear waters, white sandy beaches and untouched national parks, this resort on Moreton Island, offers a variety of water sports and a chance to hand-feed wild dolphins. Tangalooma offers a range of accommodation styles, each set amidst the landscaped gardens and natural bushland, most with water views. The resort can arrange many day tours and activities, including desert safari tours, snorkelling experiences, quad bike tours and helicopter joy flights. Boat transfers to and from Tangalooma Island Resort are an additional charge (AUD 80 return per adult, AUD 45 return per child 3-14 years, free for children up to 2 years), payable on arrival at the resort. Please note that you are automatically booked on the 12:00 boat on day of arrival and the 14:00 boat on the day of departure. Please contact Tangalooma after booking to request alternative transfer times. Boat transfers to Tangalooma depart from 220 Holt St, Pinkenba. Please reconfirm transfers at least 24 hours prior to arrival by contacting the resort directly. Please be informed that refurbishments to the resort centre and selected guest rooms will be undertaken during 2017. During this time it is anticipated that the impact on guests will be minimal. Work will be limited to 7:00-17:00 Monday to Friday, with noise levels closely monitored to ensure guest comfort is prioritised. Work is expected to be completed by June 2017.
