Guests at Hotel Yamadaya can enjoy relaxing in the indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths. All Japanese-style rooms feature a flat-screen TV and views of Shimoda Port. A free shuttle is available from Izukyu Shimoda Train Station, which is a 10-minute drive away. The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Each comes with a fridge and an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer. A Japanese Yukata robe is provided for all guests. An outdoor swimming pool is available during the summer season. Guests can play at the game room or shop for local gifts at the souvenir shop. A private hot-spring bath can be reserved for free. A traditional multi-course meal is served for dinner and a Japanese set-menu for breakfast. All meals are served in the dining room. Yamadaya Hotel is a 10-minute drive from Shimoda Kaichu Aquarium and Kujyuppama Beach. Kannon hot-spring area is a 30-minute drive away.

To use the hotel's free shuttle, please make a reservation at time of booking. The free shuttle is available between 14:00 and 17:30. Guests without a meal plan who want to eat breakfast and dinner at the hotel must make a reservation at least 3days in advance. Guests who wish to use the private hot-spring baths must make a reservation upon check-in. Guests with a tattoo may not be permitted to enter public bathing areas and other public facilities.
