Information über Matsumoto Ryokan

Just across the road from Kyoto Station’s Central Exit, Matsumoto Ryokan offers simple air-conditioned rooms with an LCD TV and a Yukata robe. It offers free Wi-Fi at the lobby. You can stay in a Western room or experience Japanese-style lodgings, with a tatami (woven-straw) floor, traditional futon bedding and a low table with floor cushions. Private bathroom includes both a bath and a shower. The hotel is a 1-minute walk from Kyoto Tower and a 4-minute walk from Higashi Hongan-ji Temple. Sanjusangen-do Temple is a 20-minute walk away. A free-use internet PC is available at the lobby. Luggage can be stored at the front desk, which can also arrange massages. A Japanese set breakfast (07:00-08:30) and dinner (18:00-20:00) are served at the dining room for an additional fee. Dinner must be reserved at least 2 days in advance.

The hotel has a curfew at 24:00. Guests cannot enter or leave the hotel after this time. There is a public parking space near the property. Reservation is not possible. To eat dinner at the hotel, a reservation must be made at least 2 days in advance. Guests must book a room rate based on the exact number of guests. Any extra guests may not be accommodated at the property. To eat breakfast at the hotel, a reservation must be made 2 days in advance. Only Japanese breakfast is available. Canceled breakfasts are not refunded. An extra bed may not be available, depending on the room size. Please make a request in advance. An extra bed consists of a set of Japanese futon bedding. Check-in is strictly from 16:00. Early check-in is not possible. Guests may leave their luggage at the reception before check-in. Luggage storage after check-out is available until 15:00 on the check-out date, and is subject to availability.
