Close to the centre of Saumur, the hotel Anne D'Anjou is overlooking the river and has a view of the chateau above. All of the rooms offer a satellite TV and views of the Loire River and of the chateau. Five of these rooms still have their original decor (Louis XVI, Restoration, Empire periods). You pass through a vaulted cellar, built many years ago by a wine merchant, before reaching the restaurants two dining-rooms. The cuisine is aromatic, imaginative and refined.
