This charming, family-run property is located 800 metres outside Níjar, in Andalusia’s beautiful Huebro Valley. It offers a garden with a swimming pool and orange and olive trees. The attractive rooms at Cortijo La Alberca feature Moorish-inspired décor, with terra cotta floors and solar-powered under-floor heating. Each one comes with a private bathroom and some have a private balcony or terrace. The Cortijo serves a daily gourmet breakfast, which includes serrano ham, eggs, bacon and fresh tropical fruits. Dinner is also available. The beautiful Cabo de Gata Nature Reserve and its beaches are around 35 minutes’ drive from the property. There are also plenty of great walking routes nearby. Almería Airport is a 30-minute drive away.
