Dros y Dŵr is perched high above the Mawddach estuary with stunning views across the water to Cader Idris. Free Wi-Fi is accessible in each room, from which guests can enjoy striking mountain and sea views. Barmouth’s beachfront is within a 5-minute walk of Dros y Dŵr. The ruggedly beautiful hills in Snowdonia National Park are also a 5-minute walk away. Walking guides and maps can be borrowed from this bed and breakfast. As there is no TV in the rooms, guests can relax and peacefully enjoy the wonderful views from the window. During July and August you can travel the Cambrian coastline by steam train, and it is 30 miles to the Italianate village of Portmeirion. Harlech Castle is a 25-minute drive from the building.
