Located on the edge of the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge is 2 hours’ drive from Launceston and only 90 minutes from Devonport. Waldheim Alpine Spa offers a range of therapies and treatments, along with a steam room, sauna, large hot tub and cool plunge pool. The lodge has more than 20 walking trails to suit every level of fitness. Recognised as one of Tasmania’s best dining experiences, the Highland Restaurant offers fine dining in a relaxed setting. Guests can enjoy a game of pool or relax by the fire at The Tavern Bar & Bistro. Each cabin includes a gas or wood fire, minibar, coffee table and comfortable armchairs. Luxury suites featuring a spa bath and private veranda with outdoor furniture are also available.

Please note that Cradle Mountain Lodge is accessible via country roads often subject to flooding and/or snow events. The Kimberley bridge in between Elizabeth town and Railton on the B13 is closed until further notice as the bridge has collapsed. The C137 however from Mole Creek through Paradise just outside of Sheffield is open and a good way to bypass around the closures. Guests are recommended to check the Tasmania police or Kentish Council websites for the current road closure details.
