Private rooms have tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Bathroom and toilets are shared. Lantern Kyoto Guesthouse is a 5-minute walk from Nishi Hongan-ji Temple and a 15-minute walk from Higashi Hongan-ji Temple. Kiyomizu Temple is a 10-minute drive away.
